Dr. Shu Chang currently serves as the Chief Asia Economist for Bloomberg Economics, based in Hong Kong.

During this time, she conducted extensive research on global and Chinese economies and financial markets, while participating in important policy work, such as the internationalization of the Renminbi. Before that, she worked at the Bank of England. Dr. Shu is also a director of the Hong Kong Chinese Financial Association. She holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Birmingham, UK.

Dr. Shu is passionate about philanthropy and has long supported the Yes We Do Foundation, Hong Kong, where she serves as a Director. The foundation promotes educational equality and is committed to providing free quality education programs for underprivileged children in Mainland China and Hong Kong.
